Ben is a recent college grad from SUNY Geneseo, south of Rochester. He grew up in Henrietta, NY.

Career
Ben is the Vice President of Sales for his family's company, St. Pauly Textile, Inc. St. Pauly distributes second hand clothing from Western and Central New York State to locations and people all over the world and helps local non profit organizations out with their fund raising. Leadership & Volunteer WorkHe is an Eagle Scout and boy scout merit badge councilor, GOLD Leader Mentor, member of The Livingston County Chamber of Commerce, Student Senator and has experience as a community and student organizer. He was a founding member of The Ghana Project and Anti - Malaria Project on his college campus and the Genesee Valley Global Friendships. With all he strives to help others to become better citizen diplomats involved in the local and global community.
Writing
Besides writing weekly for BIW, He writes a monthly column for the magazine, Connecting Rochester. He writes his articles to help others get better and reflect upon his own journey of improvement. A listing of his articles can be found below.
Public Policy
Ben spent the spring of '08 in Washington DC. Here he was lucky to gain experience as a legislative assistant intern for a Washington, DC based energy, environment and tax government relations organization. He advocates for increased efficiency, transparency, and effectiveness in all levels of government.
